DJ Spark

Spark is a DJ / Promoter from Adelaide South Australia. An interest in dance music started young being influenced by the sounds of hardcore in the early 90's. Later getting in to breakbeat hardcore then moving to Drum and Bass. Pushing drum and bass for many years both as a promoter and DJ. Dj'ing in support of many international acts and doing shows for both local talent and international DJ's the like. Spark was a founder of the Move nights at FAD bar doing many parties there with friend and producer D JON. Also collaborating with the Fringe Dwellers crew to do joint parties. Some 5 years later Spark started to get in the breakbeat sound and decided to start pushing it. This lead to the formation of the Adelaide Breaks Collective. A key member of a group of promoters Spark helped produce a special part in dance music history in Adelaide. Currently spark has gone in another tangent now playing mainly Tech house, Techno and house. But also playing funk, soul, hip hop and deep house at his current residencies at the Austral and the Union.
